The Kenan Center is proud to present Music at the Taylor.
The Taylor Theater is centrally located on the Kenan Center Campus and can be accessed by both Beattie Avenue and Locust Street. Star People’s 40th Anniversary Miles Davis Album Concert
Doors at 6:30 p.m. Concert at 7:00 p.m.
In April 1983, Miles Davis released his classic recording “Star People” which extended his dive into experimentation with electric instruments and pushed the boundaries of what a modern jazz group could sound like. The WNY band Star People (from which the name originated from) will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Miles Davis’ groundbreaking album and perform selections from this and other albums of his contemporaries from this period.
