Kenan Center announces this summer In the Gardens events. The fun begins June 5th!
In the gardens summer series brings you all the good that Kenan does into one fun summer!
Yoga in the Gardens
Monday’s July 12 – August 16, 2021 (July 12, 19, 26, August 2, 9 & 16)
6:00pm to 7:00pm
Yoga Instructor Stephanie Chesebro of Peaceful Waters Yoga brings to you a meditative class in the Kenan Gardens. Relax doing some yoga as the fountain runs, the birds chirp and the sun shines on your face. Teens (13 years old +), Adults & Seniors are invited to enjoy this event!
All six weeks cost $50/member and $60/non-member. To receive group pricing, purchase has to be made prior to the first class on July 12. Drop in classes or day of sales cost $12 per class.
Music in the Gardens: Youth Edition
Thursday’s July 15 – August 19, 2021 (July 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12 & 19)
10:00am to 11:00am
Bring your kids to a fun music hour in the Kenan Gardens. Connie Allison will lead the group in songs
Kids most ages will enjoy this show but it is geared towards 2-8 year olds.

Paul Hage & Mirage

To celebrate Kenan Center American Craftsmen: 50th Anniversary Weekend, Paul Hage & Mirage is back at the Kenan! Mediterranean-inspired jazz. Genres such as nuevo-flamenco, acid, and smooth jazz are met with classical-style guitar playing from Hage and band-mate Dan Innes, creating an expressive fusion of world music that has become the band’s trademark. Dave Stockton & The Pocket Change Trio!

Lockport friends, we’re bring Dave Stockton and The Pocket Change Trio! A blend of energy, personality & groove, this band played on the Kenan Center porch last year for Coffee with Kenan and impressed the neighborhood. So now they’re back for more!
Per New York State, “Beginning April 2, event, arts and entertainment venues can reopen at 33% capacity, up to 100 people indoors and up to 200 people outdoors. Social distancing and face coverings will be required for all attendees, as well as strict adherence to all applicable Department of Health guidance.” Mask-wearing, health screening and temperature scans are required of all patrons even for outside venues.
