Joseph Whalen Exhibit, January 10-February 21. One of Lockport's most notable artists returns with a collection of new and old works. Free opening reception, Sunday, January 10, 2-5 pm. Gallery hours are: Monday-Friday, noon to 5 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 2-5 pm.

German master puppeteer Matthias Kuchta returns to the Taylor Theater with his life-size puppets for one night only! You won’t want to miss this magical performance!

Be sure to join us for a special "Puppet Making Workshop" creating puppets with found materials, imagination, design, and animation with Matthias!

On-School-Time Performance: Underground, Over the Moon, March 25 & 26

A lyrical performance that tells the story of Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad with TheatreFiguren. Performances at 10 am in the Taylor Theater. $6 per student/teacher. Read more.


Kenan Arts Council Scholarships Available

High School students in Niagara County are invited to apply for one of three $600 scholarships awarded to a student pursuing a college degree program in art, design, theater or music. More details.

Weather-related Closings The Kenan Center is closed when the Lockport Schools are closed due to weather. This includes the Arena and Nursery School. In the event the Kenan Center is closed, please call the Arena phone line at 433-2619, ext. 210, after 2 p.m. for any specifics on cancellation of games or practices.
