In the Gallery: Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society ExhibitOctober 11-November 16Sponsored by Time Warner Cable Forty watercolor artists from Western New York are represented in this show devoted to transparent watercolor. The gallery will be open October 11 & 12 from 2-5 pm; closed Monday, October 13 for Columbus Day. Enjoy a free reception on Sunday, October 19 from 2-5 pm.
MCT Returns October 18!Sponsored by Murphy Insurance AgencyThe Kenan Center is proud to present an encore residency with the Missoula Children's Theatre for the sixth year! Every performance features a cast of local students who collaborate to perform a full stage musical with just four short days of rehearsal. It's always a hit! Auditions will take place at the Kenan Arena October 14 at 4 pm--no previous experience required! Performances take place Saturday, October 18 at 3 & 7 pm. All seats are just $5. Music Arts Program Kicks Off This FallThe Kenan Center, in partnership with the Lockport School District, launches a multi-phase program this fall that brings string instruction to elementary school students. Paul Monaco, a string instructor with the Royalton Hartland School District, is program coordinator.Read more about the MAP program.
