The Kenan Center presents the 30th annual Storrs All High Photo Show, March 1-22. The exhibit features images by students from 22 regional high schools. They are: Akron, Amherst, Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, C.W. Baker, Cattaraugus, Charter School for Applied Technologies, Clarence, Depew, Holland, Kenmore West, Lewiston-Porter, Lima Christian, Nichols, North Rose-Wolcott, Pembroke, Randolph High School, Southwestern, Sweet Home, Tonawanda City, Williamsville East, Williamsville North, and Wilson. Join us for an opening reception and awards presentation Sunday, March 1, 2-5 pm. Gallery hours are M-F, noon-5 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 2-5 pm.

Children & Music Together: Register Now

Specially designed for children ages 3 months to 3 years, using music to encourage early learning. Classes start the week of March 16. Registration deadline is March 10. Go to Education page for full class description.

KENAN SPEAKER SERIES 2015: Author & Lecturer Lauren Winner

In this on-going series of topical lectures on religion and culture, the Kenan with the First Presbyterian Church of Lockport, is proud to present Lauren Winner, Saturday, September 26. Winner is the author of numerous books including Girl Meets God and Still: Notes on a Midlife Crisis. Winner is currently an Associate Professor of Christian Spiritualty at Duke Divinity School. Details on her lecture will be announced at a future date. A reading group will also take place to disucss her books prior to the September event. Watch for more news.

RENTALS: Book Now for Your Special Event or Party

The Kenan Center is the perfect setting for a wedding, reception, meeting, or private party. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are available. Summer dates are limited and fill up quickly. Winter Closing

Weather-related Closings The Kenan Center (Business Office and Gallery) and Preschool are closed when the Lockport Schools are closed due to weather. Events scheduled for days when the Center is closed due to weather may still take place. Please refer to local TV stations for event cancellations. You can also call the Kenan Center Business number at 433-2617 for a recorded voicemail message about cancellations. The Kenan Arena and recreational programs may take place even if the Center is closed. If you have children in a program that is cancelled, you will be contacted. You can also call the Arena at 433-2619 to inquire if a program is cancelled. Generally, a decision to cancel a recreational program is made in the afternoon of a weather-related event. Promoters of special events not hosted by the Kenan Center that are cancelled due to weather are responsible for informing the public about the cancellation of their event. Again, we recommend watching your local news channel for event cancellations.
