4th Annual Niagara Wine & Beer Tasting Fest, January 24

Chosen two years in a row Buffalo Spree Magazine as one of the "HOT FIVE" events of January! The event features more than 30 wineries, breweries, restaurants, and specialty/gourmet food vendors. Plus, every ticket includes a $5 food voucher! Also raffle baskets, 50/50 split, live music, and wine for sale by the bottle. $25 pre-sale tickets can be purchased at the Kenan Center Arena, Business Office and online. Pre-sale ends at 3 pm Saturday. $35 at the door; $10 Designated Drivers. All attendees must be 21 and over with photo ID. Complete details at www.NiagaraWineAndBeerFest.com.

The Kenan Center presents an invitational exhibit featuring artistic works by men from across the Buffalo-Niagara region. Opening reception, Sunday, January 11, 2-5 pm. The Gallery will be closed January 19 and February 16 & 21. Read more.

The Kenan Center is seeking design concepts for the 45th annual 100 American Craftsmen show, May 29-31, 2015. For full requirements, download the entry form, here. Submissions deadline is February 13.







January 30: Get To Know Your Kenan Center

The Kenan Center plays an important role in providing arts, education and recreation programs to the community. Here's your chance to learn more about all we do now, and share your thoughts, as well. Join board president, Eric Connor, and Executive Director, Susan Przybyl, for a casual chat with light brunch food and beverages. 10 am in the Kenan House.

January 31: Montessori Preschool Open House

Come and learn more about our exceptional program for 3-5 year-olds! See the classroom, meet the teachers, and discover the special difference that Montessori makes for your preschooler. 1-4 pm. Kenan Center Montessori Preschool.

Winter Soccer Registration

Applications can be downloaded now from the Soccer page. Online registration is now available--links are located on the Soccer page. Resgistration will continue until spaces are filled prior to start up of winter session at the end ofJanuary. For questions regarding registration, please call the Arena office at 433-2619.


RENTALS: Book Now for Your Special Event or Party

The Kenan Center is the perfect setting for a wedding, reception, meeting, or private party. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are available. Summer dates are limited and fill up quickly. Winter Closing

Weather-related Closings The Kenan Center (Business Office and Gallery) and Preschool are closed when the Lockport Schools are closed due to weather. Events scheduled for days when the Center is closed due to weather may still take place. Please refer to local TV stations for event cancellations. You can also call the Kenan Center Business number at 433-2617 for a recorded voicemail message about cancellations. The Kenan Arena and recreational programs may take place even if the Center is closed. If you have children in a program that is cancelled, you will be contacted. You can also call the Arena at 433-2619 to inquire if a program is cancelled. Generally, a decision to cancel a recreational program is made in the afternoon of a weather-related event. Promoters of special events not hosted by the Kenan Center that are cancelled due to weather are responsible for informing the public about the cancellation of their event. Again, we recommend watching your local news channel for event cancellations.
